Maingate names Patrik Björkman new CTO

Stockholm, Sweden - Sept 18, 2009 - Maingate, one of the world’s leading independent M2M providers, today announced Patrik Björkman as the company’s new CTO. Björkman brings more than 20 years of leadership in the Telco and IT markets, latest from being VP IT at Stora Enso and former General Manager of Processing & Networks at Tieto. This clearly shows the affection that Maingate brings to the market as it‘s one of the most spectacular headhunting’s in the Telco area this year. Patrik will be an important part of Maingate’s ambition in the M2M market and he will further contribute with superior vertical knowledge and a strong track record from the international business arena. At the same time Robert Bellwaldius (former CTO) has been appointed COO within Maingate. His focus will be operational excellence and Strategy implementation. Robert will be responsible for the daily operational management of Maingate as a whole. Patrik Björkman will take office from the 1st of November.
